Hello Church,
Yesterday was a great day! I want to say a special thank you to all the folks who helped out in setting up and cleaning up afterwards. Also, say a big thank you to all the folks who helped make the garden and the boat possible. I really meant what I said yesterday. I get to see kids out all the time on the boat and they are having so much fun. It is a great sign of life, and gives us hope for the future.
We’re going to be looking more towards that future over the course of the next month or so. We’ve got times set up for some listening sessions. I’ll have a sign-up in the Sanctuary, and you can click the link below to sign-up online (just remember to check the box for the time and then click submit and sign-up to enter your name and email). In the next section down will be the questions that I’d like you to think about as we go into these sessions. The things we talk about and the things that we’ve been learning will be a part of how we figure out the direction that God wants us to go.
If you’re bringing food for the Tour Lunch on Tuesday (they’re starting back up!!) please have it to the church by 10am on Tuesday.
Check later in the email for info about Celebrate Recovery, and an updated list of devotions and prayer resources.
Our parting shots for this week come from our service yesterday. Take a look at the end of the email to see them!
Remember you can forward these emails on to folks that might be interested in them, and they can subscribe by clicking on the button below
Have a great week!
Peace,
Pastor John
