Hello Church,
We’ve started a series on the Lord’s Prayer! Yesterday we started in just the first line of the prayer. “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.” Throughout the month of May, as we are working our way through the Lord’s Prayer, take time each day to pray through it once. If you are feeling especially challenged, make time each day to say it three times.
Don’t forget, you can join us in Sunday School at 9am for a more in depth study of the prayer, and if you would like to read the book that we’re using (whether you come to Sunday School or not) you can order it on Amazon or let me know and I’ll put a bigger order in at the end of the week.
If you haven’t seen it yet, we have a new driveway! They were able to get started on it sooner than we thought. If you’d like to help with the cost of putting it in, you can mark your checks with driveway or go online and choose driveway from the dropdown.
Important Announcements
This week is a Tour Lunch! If you have signed up to bring something, please be sure to have it to the church Thursday morning.
If you have a senior graduating from High School, College, Trade School, etc, let us know! We’ll celebrate their accomplishments on May 15th during the 10:10 in person worship service. We’ve also got a sign-up in the back of the sanctuary for food for the Senior Breakfast.
Our seniors for this year are: Carter Vandeloecht, Breanna Teeter, Will Heller, and Sam Gillman.
Also, we are hosting Baccalaureate this year. It will be next Sunday 5/8 at 6pm in the Sanctuary.
Sign-Ups
There are sign-up sheets in the back for Celebrate Recovery. This includes volunteer leaders for meals for the next six months, and a sign-up for the May meal. Take a look at them and see how you can help.
We also have a sign up for the Sharing Table for this Summer.
You can sign up to help water the garden this Summer in the back of the sanctuary, or go to Garden Watering
Finally, we’re looking for folks that would like to serve communion and anyone who would like to help get the bread and the juice ready for communion Sundays. You can sign-up in the back of the Sanctuary, or by clicking here.
Parting Shot
This week’s pictures come from our garden, or at least the start of it. We’re planted and ready for everything to grow. Take a look at the end of the email to see it.
