Hello Church,
Sunday in worship was a great day!! We had two baptisms😀 And those aren’t the last ones this month either.
We’re also making a lot of progress on the last tasks for the renovations. If you haven’t seen Gary in a while its because he’s been up building a room for the new heating and cooling units. Those should be finished this week! Take a look down in the announcements for info on the upcoming Rededication service.
Also, this week starts General Conference. See down below for more General Conference News and a lot of resources. Mostly, for the next couple of weeks, please keep all of the delegates, bishops, and all the other folks who will be in attendance in your prayers. This is shaping up to be the most important General Conference since we became the United Methodist Church. Once General Conference completes we’ll have another information session to go over what was decided and what that looks like for us.
Beyond that, take a look at more announcements for this week and things that are coming up!

Important Announcements
We’ll be having a covered dish lunch that day. The church is going to provide meat and drinks, so if you want, please bring a side, salad, or dessert to go with it. Also, invite a friend! It is going to be a great day as we rededicate our sanctuary, and recommit to our faith for the future.
On May 11th, the same weekend as Graduation, Mother’s Day, and other events around town, we’re going to have a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance. If you can help work that day, or would like to help with supplies for the day, please let me know. All proceeds will go to the Ministerial Alliance and the work that we do in the community.

You don’t want to know the number of times these guys have moved and bolted pews, or like in this picture, covered over unnecessary vents. If you see one of them, get them a heating pad and aspirin for their knees.
