Hello Church,
In worship yesterday we gave a lot of information!! So I want to highlight a few things so you’re up to date.
Onboarding
On June 4th at 6pm there will be a gathering with the church and Pastor Joe. This will be facilitated by a retired pastor who has been trained to help churches and pastors come together and get to know each other in more effective ways. If you can be there, that would be amazing! A light dinner will be provided. If you can attend, please let Andrea know or sign up in the back of the Sanctuary. If you would like to help with food, let Georgia know or also sign up in the back of the Sanctuary.
Confirmation Sunday
June 2nd is Confirmation Sunday! We’ve got several youth joining the church, and two baptisms!!!! Its going to be a fun Sunday, so make plans to attend.
Farewell Breakfast
We’ll be saying goodbye on June 16th. A breakfast is being planned for that morning. If you can be here, we’d love to see you!
Youth Fundraiser
June 30th is the Youth Camp Fundraiser. Instead of BBQ, its a Casserole and Dessert competition this year. Mark you calendars! Its the same day as the Community Service, so you can go to the service and come have lunch. Watch for more details still to come.

From Cape Canaveral Lighthouse Foundation
Steven and Julie Tarpening of Marceline, MO began visiting lighthouses 24 years ago, going first to the Pensacola Lighthouse. On May 7, 2024, they successfully completed their quest to visit every lighthouse in the United States when they climbed the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse – and on their 47th wedding anniversary, no less! “You all have done a great job at your lighthouse, we enjoyed everything about the tour and everyone was so nice and informative!” Julie said. “Thanks again for the great day at your beautiful lighthouse. Glad we saved it for last!”. Reservations are required several days ahead because the lighthouse is located on the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Go to https://canaverallight.org/visit/ to book a tour.
