Hello Church,
I know I’m probably in the minority this week when I say that its quiet. As far as church stuff goes, it is a very quiet week this week. I can say that because I know it's more than a little crazy with everything going on.
With that in mind, I'm going to keep this short today. Yesterday our youth talked about things they’d learned from their parents. I’m going to reverse that for a lesson that I’m reminded of from Jack. One of the stories that he hears on a regular basis from watching kids programing is the tortoise and the hare. You remember the moral of that story right? “Slow and steady wins the race.”
I know that Summer is coming, but remember Summer will come regardless. You don’t need to force it. You’ll make better progress if you keep things at the speed limit rather than kicking the cruise control up an extra five miles an hour. As we’re reminded in Ecclesiastes, everything has a season, everything has its own pace. Work at that pace and know that for all else we have God’s grace and it will be okay.
Beyond that, take a look at more announcements for this week and things that are coming up!
