The quiet week before everything speeds up, and THANK YOU!
Your Weekly Update from Marceline UMC
Hello Church,
The first thing I want to say is thank you!!! This is from Emily, Jack, and I. Yesterday was a lot of fun at lunch. It was great to spend time with you all, and share in a very tasty meal. Although, Emily still says I wrote that video that Donna showed. I don’t know, you all tell me if that sounds like my kind of humor. She’s probably right about it sounding like something I wrote 😆
We’re gearing up for our next Messy Church meeting next Sunday (3/19) at 4:30. The more folks that want to help out the better! You can find out more by clicking on the message. Please do! I’m looking forward to what we’re going to do together.
And one last thing. We’re hosting the Ministries in Linn County Lenten Lunch on Wednesday 3/29. The service is at noon, and we’re serving lunch. If you can help with that day, let me know. We’re still needing some donations for large salads, desserts, hot dog buns (for meatball sandwiches) and chips. If you can help with the donations or helping that day, let me know.
