Hello Church,
This past weekend was a big one for us. On Sunday morning we celebrated with our graduates. Take look at the end of the email for a few pictures. It was a great Sunday, and I’m looking forward to what our graduates will do in the future.
Saturday we celebrated the life of Glenn Lindbloom. It was not an easy day. Glenn has been a part of this church for many, many years. His faith and presence will be missed, but, we hold to our faith that says we will be reunited once again.
Thank you to everyone who made this weekend happen. We had a lot of food and help from all over to come together for everything that went on. This is what it means to be a part of a community. We celebrate together, and we grieve together, and through all of it we witness to our faith. Not always in words, very often its in a salad or a casey’s pizza, but all of it shows God’s presence and love.
Important Announcements
Next Sunday we’ll be back at Sunday School at 9am, and things return to a somewhat normal schedule. I also have books for anyone that ordered one.
Sign-Ups
There are sign-up sheets in the back for Celebrate Recovery. This includes volunteer leaders for meals for the next six months. There is also a jar for monetary donations.
We also have a sign up for the Sharing Table for this Summer.
You can sign up to help water the garden this Summer in the back of the sanctuary, or go to Garden Watering. When you do that, check the box for the week(s) that you’ll water, then click submit and sign-up at the bottom of your screen. You don’t need an account to sign-up (but you can create one if you want).
Finally, we’re looking for folks that would like to serve communion and anyone who would like to help get the bread and the juice ready for communion Sundays. You can sign-up in the back of the Sanctuary, or by clicking here.
Parting Shot
This week’s pictures come from our garden, or at least the start of it. We’re planted and ready for everything to grow. Take a look at the end of the email to see it.

It was good to celebrate with our graduates and their families: Sam Gillman, Will Heller, Brianna Teeter, and Carter Vandeloecht. After this weekend, I think everyone is ready for a rest, but I’m pretty sure they’re all still going strong. While they may have graduated there are still a few activities going on.
